How it works
Book on WhatsApp or through the booking form with your name, town and reason for consulting. Send your reports in advance — photographs taken on a phone are perfectly adequate; nothing needs scanning. Join the call at the scheduled time, ideally with the family member who manages medicines at home. Afterwards you receive a written summary with the assessment and reasoning. Consultations are conducted in Tamil or English, and follow India’s telemedicine practice guidelines, including the rules governing what may be prescribed remotely.
What to prepare
Your last two or three HbA1c results, so the trend is visible. Recent fasting and post-meal sugars. Kidney function, urine protein and lipid reports if you have them. Photographs of every medicine strip with its dose, including anything prescribed by other doctors. Discharge summaries from any admission. Home readings if you keep a diary. And a plain description of your usual day — what you eat, when you eat it, and how physically demanding your work is.
The limits, stated plainly
Video cannot examine feet, assess a wound, measure blood pressure or check circulation — and foot examination is the most important physical check in diabetes. If you have burning or numb feet, or a cut that is not healing, arrange an in-person examination locally within days. Anything needing a procedure will be identified and you will be advised where to have it done, as close to home as possible. And for stroke signs, chest pain, unconsciousness or very high sugar with vomiting, call 108 and go to the nearest hospital immediately.
